Wild country, quietly observed

Saltwater and freshwater crocodiles inhabit these wetlands. The billabong is also known for its rich birdlife — from jacanas stepping across lily pads to kingfishers, darters, magpie geese and black-necked storks.

Wildlife is genuinely wild, so no particular sighting can be guaranteed. That uncertainty is part of what makes every trip its own experience.

Come ready for the Top End

Conditions can be warm, bright and changeable. Dress for time on an open boat and follow your guide’s directions around the water.

Choose a morning or evening session for your private group of up to four guests. Please note that 1-2 passengers is optimal as they'll have individual swivel seats where guests 3-4 will just have a padded bench seat. There is plenty of room but if all 4 have big cameras etc it might be a bit more crowded.
